paperback. Condition: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that… encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.

The author, who has dedicated years to researching ancient wisdom and spiritual practices, presents a compelling perspective that…challenges traditional beliefs about what happens after we die. Through a unique blend of scientific inquiry, personal experiences, and insights from respected spiritual teachers, this book explores the profound nature of the soul, its journey beyond physical existence, and the possibility of direct communication with those who have passed on. By examining historical and spiritual texts, the author unveils a wealth of knowledge that has been passed down through generations, shedding light on the interconnectedness of our world with the spiritual realm. Ultimately, this book provides a framework for understanding the transition we call death, offering hope and comfort to those navigating the complexities of loss and the search for meaning in life's greatest mysteries. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Red cloth boards, some tape marks inside front and back boards and to end-papers, small hole t…o half-title page at internal margin, binding firm, no inscriptions, light tanning to pages, foxing to end-papers and edges. About the author: Frank Sheldon Anthony Born at Matawhero, near Gisborne in 1891, Frank was the son of Frank Sheldon Senior and Anna Jane (Annie) Anthony. The family moved to south Taranaki a few years later where Frank Snr ran the Manutahi Hotel and In 1902, he bought a farm at Whakamara. The young Anthony went to school at Kakaramea and Whakamara. After a couple of years at Hawera High School, from 1909 he spent a decade at sea and travelled around the world. On the outbreak of World War I he joined the Royal Navy where he was seriously injured in an accident which affected his lungs. He returned to New Zealand in 1918 and, in 1919, bought a 76 acre (30 hectare) rehab farm on Denbigh Road near Midhirst. The farm proved to be only partially cleared, cold, swampy and difficult to develop and was immortalised as Mark Henrick's Mossy Road farm. It was during these farming years, that he wrote ten classic Me and Gus stories, which delightfully captured the somewhat squalid and arduous conditions that many Taranaki cow-cockies of the time had to endure. It was generally accepted locally that a neighbour of Anthony's on the Denbigh Road, Ralph Charles ('Charlie') Carroll, was the inspiration for the "Gus" of his stories, and "Me" was either Mark Henrick (of the 1938 stories) or Mark Hendrick (of the 1950's stories). ALL PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK. All books are sent free by courier postage within New Zealand.
