A First Edition in this format from 1950 (First, thus), this quarto (8.25" x 11") has bright yellow boards colorfully decorated with the book's characters both front & back. Condition is Fair, downgraded due to paper loss along front joint & at both ends of spine/all corners. Else, very clean, sewn binding tight & square, pages white with just a whisper of tanning to edges, unmarked save for former owner's information in neat pen to the"This book belongs to" box inside front cover.
