Logan (1836-1899), described by the Irish World as "the Father of the Irish Language Movement in America." This volume, edited by Geraldine M. Haverty, represents the twenty-third and final year of publication. All twelve monthly issues present. Illustrated throughout with Celtic Revival decorative covers, photographs, and period advertisements. West Baden College Library bookplate and call number label (891.62 / G127) to front pastedown; circular library stamp to title page of January issue. Inscription in ink to December cover: "Regards from Bingham, 6/8/39." Bound in original printed wrappers with period metal post binding; spine worn with some loss at head and tail, covers toned and soiled; contents generally very good with only scattered minor edge wear, chips, and creases.
