A cookbook and health manual by Charles Lorati, a Portland naturopath and advocate of "natural healing" who operated the "Natural Health Bureau." With recipes intended to achieve maximum health and beauty, including medicinal recipes intended to cure a variety of ailments. Examples include "the sodium cocktail" (good for rheumatism, stomach trouble, and catarrh), "health mayonnaise," "the complexion salad," and "Natureway Bread." An introductory letter is stapled to front wrapper verso and a six leaf guide to vitamins and good bowels is stapled to rear wrapper verso. Oregon State only in OCLC.
