    Rilegato. Condition: in ottime condizioni. prima edizione. [Figurato Montepulciano] (cm. 23) buona mezza pelle recente, nervi, titolo e filetti in oro. -- cc. 8 nn., pp. 206, cc. 5 nn. Marca tipografica all' inizio e in fine, elegante corsivo, capilettera figurati e una grande xilografia con una crocefissione entro ricca bordura arabescata al verso dell' ottava carta. Edizione originale veramente rara manca ad Adams, Moranti, Choix ed il Census Iccu registra solo 10 copie nelle biblioteche italiane. Filippo Giunti fece stampare questa opera contemporaneamente a Firenze e Venezia, ma si tratta di due ben diverse edizioni, quella veneta è di sole 137 carte. La dedica dell' autore è al Cardinal Michele Bonelli co data 1 gennaio 1591. Circa l' autore, fisico di Montepulciano si hanno scarse notizie. L' opera è un componimento poetico in sette libri in ottave e all' inizio contiene dei carmi inediti di Lattanzio Benucci e Roberto Titi. Qualche lievissimo alone al margine delle prime e ultime carte, 4 carte interne appena ombrate altrimenti esemplare molto bello nitido, impresso su carta grave con grandi margini. Al frontis antica firma d' appartenenza coeva: "Di Bern. Artini". * Camerini "Giunti di Firenze" II pag. 103 n° 182 A; * Camerini "Giunti di Venezia" II pag. 163; * Bm. Stc. 393.[f70].
