Broadside is virtually pristine and intact. A Fine copy. A beautiful, printed broadside featuring an untitled poem by Jack Hirschman. Jack Hirschman (b. 1933) is an American poet, essayist, and social activist. He has written over fifty books of poetry and essays. Hirschman was once personally complimented by Ernest Hemingway upon his writing skills after he sent him a story at the age of nineteen. Colophon printed at the bottom: "300 copies printed by Noel Young for The Lost Pleiade Press, August 1974." The first lines from the poem: "Time of the people changed to prayer, / time of the prayer changed to water, / time of the night on the inside of the skin .".
