Six uniform volumes of 20pp, each with 5 tipped in loose illustrations, 12pp booklet of sponsors. Each volume 32x26, japanese raffia binding; sponsors booklet 27x21; cloth covered case 34x27. Slight wear to top corner of cloth case, nice bookplate and a few other marks and signs of wear to case, contents very good indeed. A series of publications to promote Dutch artists, poets and writers in the early 1930s, sponsored privately by among others Queen Wilhemina. Beautiful collection.

Profiles and critical commentary on the work of contemporary Dutch artists and architects, including Kees Heynsius, Hendrik van Bloem, and J.C.A. Goedhart among many others, heavily illustrated throughout, each issue has 5 tipped-in plates laid in. Illustrated wraps, grey cloth case. Approx. 13" x 10-1/2". Some soils to case, otherwise very good. Photos available upon request. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Hardcover.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Text in Dutch, case with 6 raffia bound volumes, some light wear to edges and corners of slipcase, a couple of small rips on inner folds of case, all 6 in issues in very good condition, 31 plates present including the one hand signed by Henk Kuiper.

Wageningen, Drukkerij Vada, s.d. ( 1934 ) , in-folio, 32 x 25,5 cm, a cloth bound portfolio containing 6 issues of ca. 20 unpaginated leaves, in which are inserted several loose plates ( black/white, tipped on to brown-oranje coloured boards). Each issue with a different pictorial cover, bound in a japanese style raffia binding. Inserted is a 12 pp booklet with the names of the sponsors. The 6 issues contain a total of 30 inserted plates of which 24 are tipped on on brown board. The other six plates represent work of Queen Wilhelmina. There is no index to the publication , some sources indicate that there should be 30 tipped oàn plates. The original signed woodcut of Henk Kuiper is present. Among the artists illustrated we find Kees van Dongen and Han van Meegeren ( here in tempore non suspecto ). The interior of the portfolio is immaculate, but the portfolio is rather seriously dust soiled.
