Light wear to edges; very good. ? Vig. VII. Aquatint engraving by Lucas Weber after Swiss-born Karl Bodmer (1809-1893). Bodmer sketched this intriguing geological rock formation known as Cave-In-Rock on the Illinois side of the Ohio river near Cave-In-Rock Island. The scene also includes a steamer flanked by other boats, all caught against a colorful early evening sky.
