[.]" - Doczi redigierte 1866 die 'Kleine Kriegschronik' und ging dann als Korrespondent der Wiener 'Neuen Freien Presse' nach Budapest. Nach der Einrichtung des ungarischen Ministeriums unter Gyula Andrassy wurde er dessen Stenograph und Sekretär; als Andrassy die Leitung des Außenministeriums übernahm, folgte ihm Doczi nach Wien und wurde dort Leiter des Pressebüros, 1871 auch Sektionschef. 1901 in den Freiherrnstand erhoben, schied er aus dem Staatsdienst aus und widmete sich seiner schriftstellerischen Tätigkeit. Durch Übersetzungen klassischer Texte in die ungarische und in die deutsche Sprache vermittelte er zwischen beiden Literaturen; er selbst verfaßte Schauspiele sowie das Libretto zu Strauß' Operette 'Ritter Pázman' (1892). Othon Baron de Bourgoing (18391908) war für die französische Botschaft in Wien tätig und zählte gemeinsam mit Fürstin Pauline Metternich zu den großen Veranstaltern der Feste der vornehmen Gesellschaft der Hauptstadt" (Jean-Paul Bled: Kronprinz Rudolf. Wien, Köln und Weimar, Böhlau, 2006, S. 154). Später schied Bourgoing, der auch eng mit Helene Vetsera befreundet war, aus dem diplomatischen Dienst aus und ließ sich bleibend in Wien nieder. Neben einer Tätigkeit als Verwaltungsrat der Österreichischen Länderbank dilettierte er auch als Autor zahlreicher Revuen, Ballette und Theaterstücke.
