Con dedicatoria firmada por el autor.- Sin importarle los semáforos, ni las baldosas flojas, ni los vigilantes con pitos; arrastrando un poco los pies, Luis Luchi y su poesía caminan por Buenos Aires. Lo hacen sin apuro y siempre hacia adentro, marginando los pavimentados costumb…rismos, los clisés de moda, la ambigüedad lírica. A veces Luchi toma un barquito de papel y le da por navegar en los subterráneos tuétanos que comunican su Buenos Aires con otras ciudades y otros tiempos. Sin escenografía ni traje de gala, vestida de cotidiano, camina la poesía de Luchi. Primero fue el "Obelisco", luego "El ocio creador", después, tras diversas peripecias editoriales, "Las calles transversales" y "La vida en serio", recientemente un disco de larga duración, ahora es "Poemas cortos de genio" y "El muerto que habla", y más tarde serán otros que permanecen inéditos y comenzarán a caminar vestidos a lo que me importa, por "las calles transversales" del mapa poético argentino. Lo poético en Luchi no está en el mero rescate de lo cotidiano: lo cotidiano es su materia prima; la carga poética está en el collage de lo trascendente y lo anecdótico. A veces nos cuenta una fábula sin animales, llena de sabiduría, a veces se burla con lágrimas porteñísimamente cristalizadas; a veces este mismo "pathos" porteño lo domina, pero él lo macera y pulveriza buscando su particular alquimia poética. La poesía de Luis Luchi no es "rebelde sin causa". El "no" implícito que la traspasa está muy cerca de un "sí" furioso y afirmativo. Luchi no golpea con los puños los muros que tapan cada vez más el cielo: él remonta simplemente el barrilete de su poesía hecho con papeles de diarios y cola de trapos y hay suficiente viento y talento en el manejo del ovillo para que el barrilete vuele bien alto, haga cabriolas, a veces colee y Luchi se ría con ancha amargura de los pequeños, y no tan pequeños ladrones, de los mandamases, de los hipócritas y de los malos. Luis Luchi camina por Buenos Aires y el mundo remontando su poesía. Es un bello espectáculo (no se suspende por mal tiempo) ni su barrilete se ensucia con el hollín que cae de las chimeneas fabriqueras. Es una poesía de verdades, de luces y sombras, triste con hilitos de esperanza, humana como los zapatos gastados, como los grandes sofisticados ideales gastados que golpean aun como las olas. -Mario Lesing.
