Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Thus. All original 212 pages in German Gothic type (fractur). A novel. The author is actually "Count (Graf) Gerd Eberhard Clairon d'Haussonville"(!). Aged 38 at the time of writing. He is recorded in an Austrian Archive, as having written an undated radio play: "Gallische Hörner" (Gallic Horns) This copy very interesting as we have two purple stamps on the Title Page "Censored" (see image). We suggest that the date (1939) and the English censor stamps, were simply because the book was German, at a time of very heightened tensions.?
