Condition: VERY GOOD. First printing. Novel based on the history of the author's family and of the small towns which lined the Millertown Road from Stockton to Visalia to Tuolome (on the eastern side of the central valley, and in the lower foothills of the Sierras), an account of the first attempt to build Buchanan Dam on the Chowchilla River, back in the 1880's , and of the Ghost Settlement of Buchanan." SIGNED on the front endpaper and dated in 1980. 152 pp plus 12 historic photographs. Fne in a very good- dust jacket. (overall edgewear to the dj).
