This 1917 first edition is bound in blue with a plain spine, title and author in dark blue print on the cover with pasted on picture of one of the little star gazers and his sheep, which is one of the four color illustrations bound in the book. Bright and tight, the book is in very good condition. There is a Christmas 1918 gift inscription on the front free end paper and a light crayon mark. A small book store sticker on the back fixed end paper is from Oakland CA. The pages show some age discoloration and top and bottom of spine show slight wear.
