This book delves into the ancient and enigmatic world of Solomonic magic, presenting a translation of the legendary Key of Solomon, a text long shrouded in mystery and accessible only to a select few. Attributed to King Solomon himself, the book is said to contain the secrets of his profound wisdom and magical abilities. Readers are transported back to a time when the lines between the celestial and terrestrial were blurred, and the possibility of communing with angels and spirits was a tangible reality. The author meticulously lays out the principles of this ancient magical system, detailing the specific days, hours, and planetary alignments necessary for successful rituals and experiments. From summoning spirits to influencing events, the Key of Solomon offers a glimpse into a fascinating and complex magical tradition. However, the author emphasizes the importance of approaching this knowledge with reverence and caution, warning against its misuse for selfish or harmful purposes. Ultimately, this book serves as a reminder of the enduring power of ancient wisdom and the profound connection between humanity and the unseen forces that shape our world. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Brossura. Condition: new. Libro.

Tips worn with spine ends fraying, spine faded and with a few small stains, front hinge starting, notation to FPEP and owner's name (upside down) to RPEP. Published by Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co, 1887
Hardcover. Condition: VERY GOOD. Second Edition. Date rubbed off the title page but clearly a stereotyped reissue of the 1887 Redway edition. We have seen the date occluded on other copies of the Kegan Paul edition, perhaps occluding an error without the need for resetting the title page. We believe this to be the second impression of the book and the first issued by Kegan Paul, Trench & Tr?bner. The date at least precedes the first World War, after which the publisher dropped the umlaut from 'Tr?bner.' 359pp + 9 plates, three folding. 8vo, royal blue finished cloth with gilt stamped spine lettering and gilt ruled front cover. This binding matches the binding of the Redway first edition, with later printings in unfinished cloth and with front cover ruled in blind. Early printings of this monumental kabbalistic and occult text are quite scarce in trade. Tips just a bit worn, front hinge starting but still holding strong, some natural waviness to the text, some light handsoil to the covers; otherwise an uncommonly clean and fresh copy with crisp pages and attractive binding. Pencil notation to half-title notes 'From the Library of Dr. Salisbury given H.W.P by Dr. E. Kellogg.' We cannot establish the identity of either scholar.
