Light ink name stamps on titlepage, and contemporary ink notes on the rear blank, which have bled through to the last couple of leaves, very good. Remarks on the founding of Madison University, which was short-lived. Madison absorbed Hanover College and moved its activities to the nearby town of Madison, but a few years later Madison dissolved and the students mostly returned to Hanover. *OCLC* locates no copies.
