Hardback with Dust Jacket. Book with cream coloured boards in Very Good condition. Pictorial Dust Jacket Poor. Rubbed/ soiled with edges chipped and part of spine missing. (now in clear protective covering) Green decoration and lettering to front and spine with 'paste on' coloured picture of two young girls with a pony on the lawn in front of a large country mansion to front boards. Board edges slightly bumped with some discolouration to the decorated end papers. 126 Pages. Frontispiece and three other coloured plates.

In decorated cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine. Firm and sound in rubbed boards, presentation plate on front pastedown but otherwise no inscriptions or marks. A clean copy.

Illustrated by Ben E Taplin with drawings and colour frontispiece. Children's story. No date. C.1900. (Children, Illustrated, Collectible) Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
