The author argues that the physical world is not the only world and that there are ethical and orderly phenomena in nature that prove there is an extra-physical world with extra-physical beings and a God before all and over all. While some may see the mechanical theory as disproving the existence of God, the author believes that it does not exhaust the case and that the order of the cosmos points to the necessity of going beyond the physical world for its common origin. Ultimately, the author concludes that the mechanical theory does not dispense with the argument for theism any more than the successful working of a machine negatives its production by an inventor and its control by a superintendent.
