Sheet Music First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. This is a World War I marching song about the Union Jack. It was first published in 1914, though copyrighted in 1915 by the Anglo-Canadian Music Publishers Association making this copy a first edition of the copyright version. At first it was conceived for voice and piano, but was later arranged also for orchestra, band, and choir. In 1915 it was performed at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) Toronto as part of a military gala. The condition of the covers is not wonderful, and does present some tears and loss, along with a few clumsy tape repairs. Interior is generally good with legible music. Piano and lyrics.
