      Condition: Good. 1944. No Edition Remarks. 231 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over brown cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is clear. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edge wear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.

      Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Hardback edition, with dust wrapper. Orange boards with lettering on the spine. Board edges are lightly rubbed and therefore appropriately discoloured. Head and tail of spine lightly bumped. Some discolouration, foxing and staining of page edges, more so at the fore edge. Binding is neat and tidy. Signs of use and foxing on free endpapers, pastedowns and half-title page, along side some discolouration. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper: 'Armine Pamela Johnstone, Maroubra Bay", else book is in good condition. Dustwrapper is well rubbed and discoloured, particularly at the edges. Back cover bears scratches and some scuff marks. Some wear and tear at head and tail edges and towards spine. Some creasing, small tears and chips along the edges. Spine sunned and discoloured. A halo hangs upon front and back covers, else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
