Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Compact hard covers with dark blue leather spines and corners and blue marbled boards with gilt decorations on spines, but title plates missing with some rubbing of leather and wear to boards. Inside each front cover is a book plate - Presented to Bath Public Reference Library in memory of Dr J S Prendergast, who is included in e list of subscribers at front of book, probably early in the 20th century, but none of the usual lending library stamps, although there is a small faded white catalogue marking on each lower spine. Quite clean interiors with xiii, x, 329 and 528 pages, French text and including list of subscribers. Published in 1812 these two rare volumes are in good to very good condition.
