Illustrations include Ceylon surf-boats at Singapore, the Palace of the Maharajah, the marble hall of the palace, the portico of the harem, a tree with Durian fruit, a coffee tree, tea-sorters, a view of the village of Johore, an East Indian banker, Malay houses built over the water, a view of the jungle between Johore and Singapore, a native woman, a European bungalow, a view on the road to Johore, and a view in the neighborhood of Johore. The covers have some chipping, tears and creasing along the edges with one inch pieces missing from the surface at the top and bottom of the spine. Two inch tears to the top and bottom left corners of the front cover next to the spine. The back cover has a four inch piece of tape over it - not sure why as there doesn't seem to be a tear but it can't be removed now without damaging the surface. The pages are browned with some chipping to the edges in places and a few small tears but are generally unmarked. Contains 'March of the Iron Helmets' by Yarnell, 'Six Point Bombshell' by Sterling, 'Weepin' Willy, The Touchback Kid' by Cox, 'Ramblin' Wreck' by Jones, 'The Four Horsemen' by Galli, 'Wing Ding Waterboy' by Erin and 'Big Boss in the Backfield' by Stratton.
