    Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Foolscap8vo, 106 p. Contemporary black roan, marbled boards almost certainly a local binding. Lacking the half-title and title, paper browning and tanning otherwise a VG copy of this rare little book. There are seven pages of subscribers divided up by townland, most in North County Antrim and totalling over 500. The first section is entitled 'To Parents, Teachers, and Children', the next section is 'A summary of curious and useful knowledge, selected from some of the most authentic treasures of Science and Art.'. Moyassit National School appeared in the Report of the Society for Promoting the Education of the Poor in 1827 and there is a reference to the next harvest moon least beneficial to the farmer occurring in 1831. Light book, postage will be reduced to cost on processing.
