"The author tries to show that the game of chess contains moral, political, economic and especially military regulations, but does not mention the cessoles at all." (van der Linde). Condition: Lothar Schmid's label to front paste down. Both parts slightly browned and stained inside due to the paper, partly stronger, partly with margins and with a few notes by an old hand. Up to page 14 in the first part in the upper corner with worm marks and defects in the white margin. 2 sheets with a longer tear. Pagination in the second part jumps.
