Somit wird ein Verstehensmodell des Kinderyoga entwickelt, mit dem sich die 'Medizin' Yoga in seiner traditionellen Form auch bei Kindern entfalten kann. Gleichzeitig wird verhindert, das Kinderyoga sich zu einem unspezifischen Wellness-Angebot für Kinder entwickelt, in denen sich ein Mix aus Tanz, Bewegungsspielen, Massagen u. a. wiederfindet und es so seine Wirkung bzw. Tradition verliert. Insofern ist das Buch gleichzeitig auch eine Reflexionshilfe für Praktiker und eine unverzichtbare Lektüre für Kinderyoga-Ausbildungen.Weitere Veröffentlichungen zu diesem Thema im Schibri-Verlag sind die Neuauflage der ersten Kinder-Yoga-Dissertation (1997, 2011: 2.
