Date on title page is 1862. Full title is: "History of the United States, From the Earliest Discoveries to the Present Time, with Additions Containing History of the British American Provinces, History of Mexico, and the Constitution of the United States With Explanatory Notes and Questions (Revised and Illustrated Edition)." 429 pages. The binding is strong. The corners and edges are bumped, the covers rubbed. The leather spine is rubbed with some tears and chips. A chip is missing from the bottom of the spine, showing the text block. Pages are unmarked, but toned around the edges with a small amount of foxing. Contains a few small black and white illustrations as well as text throughout.
