Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Dance Index: Volume VI, Number 2, February 1947 dedicated entirely to Marian Hannah Winter's essay "Juba and American Minstrelsy." Illustrated with many historical photos, drawings, and paintings (all reproduced in black and white). Text and images are unmarked; pages are bright, though the page edges are age toned. Covers are shelf rubbed and edge worn, especially around the corners and along the fold of the spine. The paper is starting to split at the head and base of the spine. Stapled binding is still sturdy.

Hardcover. Green cloth over boards; Trifold portfolio; Stringbound booklet laid in, approx. 16 pp.; 4 color, 8 bw plates laid in. Nice oversized plates; Booklet contains text about each plate included. VG- (Ex-lib., heavy markings, inc. an inkstamp to each plate, on the outer edge of the plate itself; Some sunning to cloth).
