Illustrated with many historical photos, drawings, and paintings (all reproduced in black and white). Text and images are unmarked; pages are bright, though the page edges are age toned. Covers are shelf rubbed and edge worn, especially around the corners and along the fold of the spine. The paper is starting to split at the head and base of the spine. Stapled binding is still sturdy.
