Contains speech given by Walter Gropius on the occasion of his exhibition at the museum on February 14, 1931. Signed and inscribed by unidentified lecturer at the Gropius exhibition in Hamburg, dated April 1973. Intriguing catalog on the occasion of the traveling exhibition featuring striking b/w photographs of Gropius architecture, architectural drawings, plans and models, including photographs by Walter Gropius and Lucia Moholy, among others. The descriptive text was created by Ise Gropius in collaboration with members of the "Architects Collaborative" in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Text in German. Very light wear along edges of wraps with Gropius penciled to spine, and lightly rubbed. Wraps in overall good+, interior in very good condition.
