Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. First Edition, First Printing. A Good Book in a Near Fine Photo Illustrated Dust Jacket, Unclipped ($20.00). Signed (Inscribed) by Author to Ben McFall to FFEP, Legendary Bookseller at the Strand. Book presents much better than Good but has a stain to rear board and last few pages of book that seem to be a coffee stain. Book is lightly shelf worn. Trade sticker residue visible to front pastedown. Excepting inscription, text is unmarked. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket is fresh and vibrant with some light shelf wear. Hardcover. Octavo. [6], 7-240pp. An exceptionally important book, scarce signed, all the more stunning with this provenance. Flaw adds charm as much as it detracts, thinking of Ben spilling coffee while enjoying this work. Publisher's Black Cloth, Gilt Detailing.
