There is some dampstaining in each volume, a…nd light foxing; the boards are abraded at the corners. (large abrasion on Volume I) Antione Dadin, born in 1602 died,1682, was a distinguished French historian and canonist, dean of the faculty of law at the University of Toulouse. The church awarded him a pension as a reward for his defense of ecclesiastical jurisdiction. His confutation of Charles Fevret's "De Abusu" in which he defended the Church, wasn't until the 1770s. 092717D.
