Broschur. Condition: Gut. en, fr (illustrator). Zwei kleine Bildbände, entstanden ca. 1910 mit je 12 Sepia-Fotografien. Enthalten sind je 12 Tafeln mit Architekturansichten der französischen Städte Blois und Chambord, beide gelegen im Departement Loir-et-Cher. In erster Linie finden sich Innen- und Außenansichten der Schlösser. Bezeichnungen der Aufnahmen je in englisch und französisch. Broschuren leicht ausgeblichen, sonst gut, Schnitt je leicht angebräunt, Seiten sauber, in einem Band leichte Ausfärbungen der Broschur auf dem Schmutztitel. Sprache: en, fr Size: quer8vo.

Oblong 8vo, 12 sepia photographic plates; original red wrappers lettered in black and gilt; upper cover faded, top edge dampstained, textblock fine. At head of cover title: "Album Artistique." Paris, s.d. (ca. 1920), format in-4°, 27,5 x 22,5 cm, (4) nn pp (pricelist) + 22 pp (cover included)(illustrations). Bound in modern fancy paper covered boards. Very rare trade catalogue of the Parisian engraver P. Bearel who produced all sorts of iron decoration tools to be used to gilt bookbindings: lozanges, palmettes, mandorlas, initials, etc. In all nearly 1000 different tools are depicted. From the library of the book historian B. Rousseeuw who used this catalogue to identifiy some irons from this catalogue which were used by the Antwerp master bookbinder Laurent Peeters. (Note loosely inserted) Good copy allthough the illustrations leaves are printed on a rather poor paper quality and some leaves slightly soiled.
