Jahrhunderts. Im Alter von 16 Jahren begann er ein Studium an der Kunstakademie in Wien, an der zur gleichen Zeit Oskar Kokoschka studierte. Er gehört zu den Ausnahmetalenten in der Exlibriskunst des 20. Jahrhunderts. Zwar erkennt man seine Handschrift schnell. Trotzdem ähnelt kaum ein Blatt dem anderen. Ausgestattet mit einer unglaublichen Phantasie, gelingt es ihm, jedem Eigner ein individuelles Blatt zu gestalten. Sicher sind manche Blätter schlicht. Aber gerade bei den Radierungen hat er reichhaltige und prächtige Blätter geschaffen, deren Reiz sich erst nach mehrmaligem Betrachten enthüllt.
