Fu insegnante a Padova e a Castelfranco, poi arrestato per motivi politici. Fu direttore delle scuole primarie di Firenze e di Orvieto. Ebbe l'incarico di ordinare la sezione risorgimentale della Biblioteca Nazionale di Roma. Mori' nel 1899. Rumor, "Scrittori vicentini", pp. 295-296. ITA.
