Senza legatura e scucito (le tre parti sono tenute insieme da unico punto di cucitura centrale). Ottima copia. Raro opuscolo riguardante il progetto per l'istituzione di una banca di sconto del credito fondiario presentato all'Accademia dei Georgofili nel 1842-?43. L'autore ?abbandonò allora Siena per trasferirsi a Firenze, dove, aperto uno studio legale, riprese a esercitare la professione forense. Non tralasciò tuttavia di coltivare altri interessi: grande appassionato di studi classici, fu, sin dal 1838, membro dell'Accademia dei Georgofili, divenendone in seguito vicepresidente. Discepolo di G.D. Romagnosi che lo definì ?erede del suo spirito', quale socio ordinario dell'Accademia, nel giugno dello stesso 1838 vi lesse una memoria dal titolo Dei principj fondamentali di filosofia della vita sociale di Gian Domenico Romagnosi [?], nella quale ricostruiva il pensiero del maestro, della cui Filosofia del diritto curò l'anno seguente la 5ª edizione. Nel 1843, confermando che la sua attività di studio non si limitava ai soli problemi del diritto, sostenne, in un dibattito svoltosi nell'Accademia, l'opportunità di istituire una banca di sconto del credito fondiario?
