From the artist's text (in Japanese and English): "It was around the time I was exploring my year-end project at photography school. I was shocked by my encounter with the 'Dekotora' on the highwayI made countless trips to Tsukiji Market, staying up through the night in hopes of capturing the perfect shot. Yet, to my puzzlement, the trucks I had envisioned never appeared, and a friend told me about the mecca for truck guys, "There's a Tsukamoto-ya Nakamura Shouten (auto parts store) near Yokohama station. You should go take a look "From that day on, when I didn't have classes, I was always engrossed in the shop from morning till nightI fondly remember the days when I brought my camera, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the splendid, luxurious and dazzling 'Dekotora' trucks. Many decades have passed since then, but I hope you will continue to enjoy the strong, glorious, and unfading vivid 'Dekotora' trucks." In excellent condition.
