Condition: Good. Boston 1832 (1831 first edition) Richardson, Lord and Holbrook and Hartford Huntington. Hardcover. Narrow octavo, 72p. of music and lyrics to popular songs including "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on. p. 61 (similar lyrics to popular version today but different score.) Complete except the lower two inches of page on which Mary Had a Lamb appears is torn away taking out about 1/3 of lyrics to that tune and also about 1/3 lyrics to the tune on the verso "The Cricket" - music scores remain complete for both songs. Other songs include: Hymn of Praise, Good Night, Arouse up ye Sleepers, Spring is Come; Wooden Horn, Cradle Song, etc. Lighting toning and staining throughout. Lacks end papers - opens to title page. Half leather with marbled boards. Fair, cover very worn although still intact. No ownership marks.
