Paperbound. Condition: Good. Description: Includes a few historic photo illustrations. From the introduction: ''Construction of the present Hamilton County Courthouse was started in 1894 and the building was finished in 1895. It replaced the county's second courthouse, located on the same site, that burned under suspicious circu…mstances in 1894. The effort by Hamilton County officials to solve that mystery is part of the story of the construction of the new courthouse. There was another mystery too. Did the former county treasure really defraud the count of funds? His trial also is pat of the courthouse story. This story begins with a report on the courthouse fire in an Aurora newspaper of the day and unfolds over the next several months as the new courthouse is built. During Aurora' annual celebration June 22-25, 1995, Hamilton Countians celebrated the building's 100th birthday.'' BINDING/CONDITION: paperback; Good condition. 8vo (about 9 inches tall). 126 pages.
