Com uma análise materialista histórica e uma narrativa didática, o autor parte da categoria imperialismo como chave de compreensão dos conflitos de interesses entre os países imperialistas, especialmente os Estados Unidos em sua crise de hegemonia, e os países do Sul Global, em particular o Brasil, que levaram à configuração de novos tipos de golpes de Estado na América Latina.Para entender esse processo, o autor trabalhou com os conceitos de guerra híbrida e neogolpismo. De forma didática, a obra aponta que a guerra híbrida, conhecida por promover as chamadas "revoluções coloridas", é uma forma de combate não convencional utilizada pelo imperialismo para derrubar governos populares, manipulando inclusive manifestações de rua. Para o autor, neogolpismo também é o tipo híbrido de golpe de Estado, no qual a burguesia articula, no lugar da força militar, o sistema de Justiça, o parlamento e a mídia oligopolista para destituir governos populares, como de Manuel Zelaya, em Honduras (2009), e de Fernando Lugo, no Paraguai (2012). Com isso, este livro procura discutir o modo pelo qual o neogolpe no Brasil fez parte da estratégia de guerra híbrida, implantada desde o início contra o governo Lula, mas que se expandiu a partir das manifestações de 2013, no governo Dilma.Um livro fundamental a todos os trabalhadores e trabalhadoras do campo e da cidade, no contexto atual da luta de classes no Brasil, para identificar e desarmar os mecanismos de funcionamento da guerra híbrida e do neogolpismo ainda em curso, e para se mobilizarem, se organizarem como protagonistas na direção de um projeto nacional popular e soberano.; 224 pages.

The results are extensively discussed in the book.
