Unbound. Condition: Very Good. Approximately 11" x 5". A little light foxing, margins slightly irregular, but likely as some from the printed, faint remnant of an official wax seal. very good or better. Dealer are encouraged to "please to state their lowest price per gallon for oil, to be delivered to the Watchmen in such quantities as shall be required. ." John Mathiot was the fourth Mayor of Lancaster, at the time of this broadside, a city of about 7700 people. A relatively small but striking broadside demonstrating the use of whale oil in municipal lighting.
