Vintage Albuminabzug, Verlagsnummer 1078b.- Gregor Baldi (1814-1878) und Friedrich Würthle (1820-1902) eröffneten am 15. Jänner 1862 ihr erstes gemeinsames Fotoatelier in der Riedenburg in Salzburg. Durch den Eintritt von Würthles Schwager Hermann Spinnhirn (1840-1892) erfolgte am 1. Jänner 1881 die Änderung des Firmennamens in Würthle und Spinnhirn. 1892 übernimmt Sohn Friedrich Würthle (1866-1919) die Firmenanteile des verstorbenen Hermann Spinnhirn. 1895 bis 1904 firmiert das Fotoatelier und Verlag unter dem Namen Würthle & Sohn (Verlag bis 1907). Karl Friedrich Würthle zählt zu den Pionieren der Bergfotografie.
