Overall, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy.

Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.50), gently spine-sunned and lightly dust-soiled, with a faint, shallow stain along the lower edge of the rear panel; Near Fine. Well-preserved American edition of the first significant novel in the Finnish language, originally published in Finland in 1870. This issue bound contemporaneously with (but preceded by) the Coward-McCann issue, with the binding and dustjacket nearly identical, with minor variations.
