Als sich die beiden in London per Zufall wiedersehen gestehen sie sich ihre Liebe, verloben sich und reisen gemeinsam mit der Titanic nach New York.Während des Ersten Weltkriegs wurde dieser 1912 erschienene Roman als 'Schundliteratur' verboten.Die Reihe 'Titanic-Trouvaillen' vom Titanic-Verein Schweiz lässt den Leser die Anfänge des Mythos Titanic ergründen und die Legendenbildung verstehen.
