Original-Radierung von Mauduison (in der Platte signiert) auf aufgewalztem China auf rückseitig unbedrucktem Büttenblatt mit dekorativ abgesetztem Plattenrand, bildliche Darstellung ca. 22 x 15,5 cm, Blattgröße ca. 28 x 19,5 cm, im breiten Blattrand außerhalb der bildlichen Darstellung etwas Alterspatina, ansonsten sehr gut erhalten, sehr selten 1100 gr.

Isabella von Portugal (auf portugiesisch Isabel de Portugal; * 24. Oktober 1503 in Lissabon; 1. Mai 1539 in Toledo) war seit 1526 die einzige Ehefrau von Karl V. aus dem Hause Habsburg, Kaiser des Heiligen Römischen Reiches. Isabella war das zweite Kind und die älteste Tochter von König Manuel I. von Portugal aus dem Hause Avis und dessen zweiter Ehefrau Maria von Aragón und Kastilien. Ihre Großeltern mütterlicherseits waren die Katholischen Könige Ferdinand II. von Aragón und Isabella I. von Kastilien, nach der sie benannt war. Ihre Mutter erzog sie recht streng und prägte ihr eine tiefe Religiosität ein, starb aber bereits 1517, als Isabella erst 14 Jahre alt war. Der Vater übergab daraufhin Isabella die Besitztümer ihrer verstorbenen Mutter; außerdem durfte sie Einkünfte aus den portugiesischen Städten Viseu und Torres Vedras beziehen.
