    Loose as Issued. Condition: Good. Hofbauer (illustrator). Limited Edition. 30 x 20 inch publicity poster for the Post Office Savings bank dated to near 1950. and signed by "Hofbauer" alias the Austrian advertising illustrator Max Hoff. More famous for his Simpson's of Piccadilly and cigarette adverts done in the 1950's & 60's Condition, piece missing from top left corner, several splits at edges about an inch or a little longer, some light creasing overall to feel but would disappear if framed. An attractive period Post Office Banking Poster. *The illustrator died in 1985 and was living in London during the war having left Austria in 1936.
