Encuadernación de tapa blanda. Condition: Muy bien. Hermoso ejemplar, no está datado con fecha, pero, de acuerdo a las fuentes que se pueden consultar en la red, es la primera edición en gótica germánica de Leipzig B. Elischer Nachfolger, de 1896. Tapa dura, bella encuadernación original en plena tela, gamas de verde y café, en relieves. Son 363 páginas sobre unas dimensiones de 20 x 14 cm. Maravillosa calidad de papel. Max Simon Nordau (nacido Simon Maximilian Südfeld ; 29 de julio de 1849 - 23 de enero de 1923) fue un líder sionista, médico, autor y crítico social. Fue cofundador de la Organización Sionista junto con Theodor Herzl, y presidente o vicepresidente de varios congresos sionistas. Como crítico social, escribió Las mentiras convencionales de nuestra civilización (1883), Degeneración (1892) y Paradoxes (1896).
