All remaining copies are bound in the publisher's original maroon morocco soft covers. All works are dated circa 1920 by copies held by the British Library and University of Cambridge Libraries.Les Miserables is comprised of two parts, bound as one.Excluding The Imitation of Christ and The Greatest Thing in the World, which only contain the frontispiece, all volumes are profusely illustrated, including with a frontispiece and vignette title page.Les Miserables similarly lacks a vignette title page but contains four plates, as does The Life of Samuel Johnson, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and The Count of Monte-Cristo. The Master of Ballantrae and Quentin Durward both contain five further plates, and Nicholas Nickleby and The Compleat Angler include six plates, respectively. Externally, very smart with slight bumping and rubbing, more so to the top edge of Nicholas Nickleby, and a few marks to boards. Internally, generally firmly bound, the front hinges a little weak at points.
