    Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, reddish orange boards with gilt on spine. Exterior shows quite a bit of soiling along some minor edge and corner bumping. Top edges spotted and mildly dust darkened. Interior pages are toned due to age and some spotting is present. Inscribed and signed on the front end page: To Dr. C. L. Owens, with my kind this regards, John Ruhrah, July 1924". The no other handwriting noted in book, no stamps, bookplates, or library markings. Both front and rear hinges show damage caused by the binding being too tight and the pastedown split near the gutter. It also appears these may have been re-glued at one point. Front end page also has faint evidence of the number 100 written in two spots. A scarce title with a unique presentation inscription by the famous doctor. Signed by Author(s).
