Pérdidas en el lomo, aunque las bisagras están fuertes, ligeros roces y alguna tenue huella en las cubiertas, algunas tenues huellas de óxido en el interior. No es un ejemplar muy bueno, pero este suele ser un libro muy castigado: la encuadernación en cartoné fotográfico es muy delicado, que se roza muy facilmente, y los lomos en cartoné se rompen. Además es un libro muy popular que se mira y se enseńa, y encima, para colmo, ha tenido que aguantar el clima de Cuba. Con todo esto, este es un ejemplar bastante aceptable, y se encuentra en mejores condiciones que la mayor parte de los que se ofrecen a la venta. WorldCat cita 39 ejemplares, pero ninguno en Espańa - aunque hay uno en el MNCARS. Este es probablemente el fotolibro más célebre de la Revolución Cubano, y uno de los más importantes de su época.
