First edition. One of 1000 numbered copies, signed by the author/printer. Octavo. [viii], 133, [1, colophon], [4, blank], [8, publisher's ads, history and reviews, with photographic illustrations). Plus three full page plates by Maynard Dixon (along with vignettes and head-pieces by him as well). Publisher's gray printed wrappers with a Dixon illustration on the front. Some edge chipping and a droplet stain to spine but a very clean and good copy; usually found in deplorable condition.
