Wraps, 165pp, B&W illus and photos. The author was borned and fished and hunted throughout the 1000 Islands area. This is a work for fiction but according to the author's preface, "certain events actually took place more or leass as described. Such events were recounted to me by old hands." (1.8 JM HOQ 101/6 Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" Tall. Inscribed By Author.

Trade paperback. Fitch, Lee (Cover photograph); Brown, Bud (illustrator). Presumed first edition/first printing. [9], 165 p. Includes: illustrations, maps. This was edited by Harry Tudor, printed by Brown & Martin Limited of Kingston, Ontario, and was typeset by Sykes & Sykes of Gananoque, Ontario. The author's family has lived in the 1000 Island region for four generations. He attended Gananoque High School, Loyola and QUeen's Universities. This appears to be the author's first novel. Good. No dust jacket as issued. Cover has some wear and soiling.
