Dust Jacket Condition: Good. covers have minor wear and soil, book has minor wear and small edge pieces missing, corners and ends of spine bumped, binding tight, no writing, 64 pages, when Sally woke up she discovers a loose tooth and sets out to find her father clamming by the shore, she looses the tooth in the surf, takes a trip to Buck Harbor and gets her wish anyways when Mr. Condon offers her a chocolate ice cream cone, b&w illustrations Size: 9.25 x 12.25.

Cover: reddish cloth, with brown artwork of train and depot to front and brown lettering to spine. DJ: unclipped in Brodart, multi-color artwortk on burgundy background, white and pinkish lettering to front, white to spine, back is burgundy and blue lettering on cream background; rubbing and color loss to small areas of spine edges. A very nice copy.

Condition is GOOD+ ; boards very clean but a touch bowed. Corners and spine ends bumped with wear. BInding tight. Endpapers and text very clean and fresh, small name on ffep. DJ is FAIR ; not clipped ($2.50) clean but a little toned at edges. Edges have wear and chips, one closed tear at lower rear, loss to corners. Lower nearly half of spine lacking, section along rear lower edge lacking. In a new Mylar wrapper. Chil. RGR.

Clean and VG+ (very light creasing along a number of bottom edges) in a crisp, price-intact ($2.50), VG+ dustjacket, with very mild chipping at the spine ends and just a touch of light soiling to the front panel. Quarto, brilliantly illustrated in rich color by Robert McClosky (of "Make Way for Ducklings" fame, among other triumphs).
